Explanation of Fee Increases This Year
After analyzing that true cost of running the club over the past year, adjustments were made to equitably allocate costs across all players for the coming year.
Our growing club has been very stretched administratively, to the extent that our systems were not viable on a long range basis. Some investment in operations have been made to assure that the "business backbone" of the club would be strong enough to support the fun on the field. In past years this was all done on a shoe-string budget-- we're STILL running on a shoe-string budget, but we are adding some much needed powerful tools for business operations this year that will serve players, families, managers, coaches and the administration to a much higher level.
Merchant services and payment gateway fees represent a large cumulative expense across the club, and quite frankly, the club didn't budget adequately for it last year.
We understand that fee increases are never welcome, so we took great care to only increase to the extent that was absolutely essential. The club remains committed to keeping costs down while improving the entire experience for everyone.
