Last week we were informed that starting this fall AYSO National will be changing from a school year registration to a birth year registration in order to align with other American youth soccer program providers interpretation of the U.S. Soccer Player Development Initiatives. 

The effective date of age determination for registration shall be the player's age as of January 1 to December 31. 

“Playground” for Region 88 is normally called “Under 4” and “Schoolyard” is normally called “Under 5”. That is all the information we have at this point.
